Customer-facing updates for Open Design. Availability is specific to the download you install; website demonstrations do not imply that every illustrated workflow is available.

October 20, 2026 — Website

• Added an interactive workflow explorer and an editorial design-history section.
• Improved navigation to documentation, early access, and product limitations.
• Simplified download and installation guidance for beta users.

October 18, 2026 — Beta download

• Packaged the pyRevit extension with a Windows installation launcher.
• Included package-integrity verification and preservation of an existing installation.
• Published a separate checksum for download verification.

This remains an unsigned ZIP distribution. Live Revit acceptance of the current package is pending. Consult the installation guide and known limitations before evaluation.

October 2026 — Engineering beta

• Open Design panel for supported Revit workflows.
• Settings for conversational AI access using your own API key.
• Ongoing work on model context, reviewable changes, and electrical workflows.

Electrical evaluation is the current focus. Other disciplines remain experimental, and known rule and linked-model issues require review. No general compatibility or code-compliance guarantee is made.
